ENVIRONMENT Im2 - CARBON STEEL
The environment that the ISO 12944-2 Standard identifies with the Im2 corrosivity class due to water and soil, is brackish water or sea water. This class concerns harbour areas with offshore plants, piers, basins, bulkheads to sluice gates, that is all those carbon steel structures immersed in sea water.
