Hot-dip Galvanized Steel – Environment C3

The environment that the ISO 12944-2 Standard identifies with the atmospheric corrosivity class C3, that is medium, concerns production areas with high humidity and a certain atmospheric pollution, such as laundries, breweries, dairies and food industries in general . Such buildings are usually placed in urban or industrial environments with modest of sulfur dioxide pollution, or in coastal areas with low salinity.

The hot-galvanized steel structures have a loss of mass from 5 to 15 g / m2 and from 0.7 to 2.1 µm in thickness.
